Memorial Drive Hunger Ministry

"I haven't had any food in 3 days. Thank you!" from one of the women who recently came for a meal.

"Thank you for helping give me food when I was struggling so much! Here's a donation to pay it forward. It's not much but I'm getting back on my feet now & you all here literally helped keep me alive. God Bless you all!' from a man who came for meals for a couple years.

"Thanks for feeding me. Here's some shoes to give to other people" on a note left on a box of shoes outside our doors

"Thank you for this nice lunch and these pants, shirts, socks and shoes. I don't have anything. I'm trying to find work but it's so hard with no clothes. God Bless you!"

Since March 2010, Our church is very proud to be the distribution site 6 days per week (Sundays thru Fridays) from 12 noon to 1230pm in which FREE meals are served to the homeless and folks in need that come to our doors.  The meals do not need to be heated up making them easy to eat.  We occasionally provide hot meals such as homemade soup and traditional holiday meals. We also provide hygiene kits regularly as well as clothes 2 days a week throughout the year. Special seasonal clothing items such as winter coats/gloves/hats, underwear, shoes & socks are given out during the summer and winter months. This ministry program is gratefully supported by Trinity Lutheran Church, All Saints Lutheran Church and A New Thing Christian Church as well as generous folks like you from our local and wider community. This program relies entirely on donations from members of our church, other churches and people in the community, like You!
