Graetz Advocacy Award Please enjoy a few pictures below from the presentation. His daughters surprised him to be there to support him on this very special evening. You can see the video of the presentation on both our private group Facebook livestreaming page and our new public Facebook page.
Pastor Randy: We are so very proud of you and we are grateful to you for these 32 years and counting of working in Ministry together. The compassion, kindness and grace you have shown to each of us as parishioners as well as to those in the community in need......is limitless, just as God's love and grace to all of us is limitless. Your leadership in ALL of the various advocacy and ministry programming over the years has been our guiding light for everything we have done together and continue to do.
CONGRATULATIONS PASTOR RANDY! You deserve this award. We love you!
On Monday May 26th we joyfully accepted these items from "Shop of Hope" a local refugee resettlement support organization that were given by Lutheran World Relief to assist newly arriving Refugees. Since the current administration ended all refugee services they needed to find a 'Plan B' for sharing them with other people in need in our community. So we will take them and in turn Bless others this year! This is just 1 of many examples of instances of how our partnerships with Lutheran organizations both near and far, in working together and caring for for one another, have positively impacted the lives of Many people living on Memorial Dr. and nearby area. Pictured is 625 lbs. of hand made quilts and 180 hygiene kits! We LOVE turn Lemons into Lemonade!
Stay tuned to see how and who we Bless with these items later this year!
