2025 Lenten Walk Project!

We are Very excited to announce a NEW Community Partnership with the DeKalb County Public Health Department!
Beginning on March 14th, they will be onsite and will offer FREE healthcare services during our Friday midday meal and clothing distribution timeframe (every other Friday each month) which will include the following;
-Free two minute result HIV and 10 minute STI syphilis testing with result cards provided on the spot
-Free testing results counseling for those who test positive
-Free internal and external protection prophylactics
-Free take home 20 minutes self testing HIV kits
-Free PrEP referrals for HIV preventative care
-Free Ryan White medical care, medication, and support referral services
The outreach mobile unit was on site today, providing confidential testing.

for this year!
We are in the planning and prep stages now!
Summer 2024 we Launched a NEW summer lunch program to provide FREE lunches Mondays through Fridays in June and July to 100-120 homeless kids living near us on Memorial Drive who have no access to free lunches provided through the public school system.
LAST YEAR WE PROVIDED 3000 MEALS TO THESE PRECIOUS CHILDREN THANKS TO ALL OF THE WONDERFUL SUPPORT BOTH FINANCIALLY AND THOSE WILLING TO MAKE SANDWICHES TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE MEALS!
IF you are able and interested, we would deeply appreciate ongoing financial donations to cover the expenses related to this program. 100% of the proceeds will go to this summer lunch program THIS Year. Please see the 'Donate' tab above for ways to make a financial contribution. No donation is too big or too small.

NEW HOURS OF OPERATION: 9:00am-1:00pm on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays each month.
THE MARKET HAS DELAYED OPENING DAY FOR THE 2025 SEASON DUE TO EXECUTIVE ORDERS BY THE CURRENT ADMINISTRATION WHICH AFFECTED THE SNAP PROGRAM WHICH MANY OF THE PUBLIC USES TO PURCHASE FRESH PRODUCE.
